3M Scotchlok UB2A IDC Splice Connector

Scotchlok UB2A tap splice connector used for tapping into another conductor without interrupting service. This Scotchlok UB2A tap splice features a factory-installed sealant to protect against corrosion and seal out moisture. Inside the Scotchlok UB2A splice connector are U shaped IDC contacts that eliminate the need to pre-strip the wires and offer a reliable electrical connection. The unique pre-crimp feature of this UB2A splice connector offers time saving by holding the wires in place until the splice is complete. A thin membrane moulded into the tap wire entry port also helps secure the tap wire until the crimp is completed.
